(Sr.) Manager, SAP Product Owner (Functional Expert PP/QM)

About the Role:

Join BioNTech as an integral part of our China IT organization, where your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of developing innovative therapies that improve global health. In this role, you will focus on optimizing manufacturing (SAP PP module) and quality assurance (SAP QM module) processes while providing critical support for our ongoing SAP S/4 HANA project.

As a key team member, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot solutions that drive efficiency and innovation in manufacturing and quality management. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data migration, system integration, and interface development within a dynamic work environment.

Your Contribution:

  • Serve as the in-house IT module leader and product owner for F2P, P2P, and I2R workstreams
  • Collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Partner with project consultants to ensure process design aligns with project goals and timelines
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve technical issues related to assigned workstreams efficiently
  • Oversee data migration processes, system integrations, and interface development during project phases
  • Act as a key communicator between technical teams and business stakeholders to align objectives

A Good Match:

  • Expertise in SAP PP and SAP QM modules with hands-on experience in manufacturing and quality assurance processes
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead workstream teams effectively
  • Proven ability to collaborate with BPOs and external consultants to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills for troubleshooting technical challenges
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for contributing to BioNTech’s mission of advancing medicine through innovation
